i was very lucky that i got a chance to visit the Shivpuri; It is a small village which is located at 17 km. from Rishikesh district of Uttarkhand state. It can be reached easily by road, rail and airways. The near by airport and railway station is Dehradun which is 50 km. away from Shivpuri.
It is very interesting to tell you that its more than Divine incident . As per schedule I reached there at 19th of October 08 Sunday morning with my all my classmates and respective faculty members. I never seen this type of place ever in my life, where I witnessed of true nature’s beauty.
Rolling roads, big mountain, pure and holy river Ganga, beautiful rocks, and nature camp on sand were all stunning me all time. As a native of field and flat area I didn’t have any experience like this. before I reached there my brother told me about Shivpuri, it is famous for Yoga and Meditation camps and mostly foreigners are spending their time on it. i found whole scenario was really like that.
Apart of this at that tour of concern water games like rafting, kayaking, swimming and water jumping were really amazing. I really enjoyed all that but “rafting” was most amusing, rather I should say it was the soul of all entertainment activities. Different type of rapids like three miles, double house, club house, roller costar, golf course and black money were giving zeal to both days rafting.
Rope activities like Burma Bridge, wall climbing, Monkey crawl and down to bridge were so adventurous. At the every morning nature walks, I felt nature beauty of Shivpuri, and small curvy up-strait ways were really full of adventure.
Most important safety measure of this tour was outstanding our tour guide Mr. Gulab singh Rana clearly instruct about how to use the life jacket safety belt and all that.

Lantern dinner and bonfire gathering were new experience for me. At 2nd day evening Prof. Anita Mathew taught us a very productive mediation lesson and share with us impact of meditation in our life.
There is a lot of thing to share about that tour but some one really told true-“words has limit, I can’t express what i exactly feel”. At the end i want to say whenever I will get chance “Inshaallah” I will go.
